OK, my name is Deirdre Hesse and I hated my first name until I was 23. With the "e" on the end of Hesse I was called Messy Hessy for no reason.
Please don't tell your daughter she was named after a pig. At least her teachers can pronounce it, which is good. But I'll look up the name if need be...
and give my downstairs Hess's the answer. Congratulations and thanks for the pics. She's gorgeous!
