Calm Before the Storm

The time stamp is a little off on this photo. Around 2 a.m. New Year's Day, we left the home of our friends Lexie and Jason. Unbeknownst to the happy couple pictured here, she would be admitted to the hospital within two hours, and we would be parents within eight hours.
